Making Your Objection
Please remember to use your own words and to also refer to your own personal connection to the site and its surroundings, if and when appropriate.
Ideally, objections should be submitted on an individual basis. Multiple objections can be submitted from the same household and there are no age restrictions. The only stipulation is that the objection has to be made on material considerations as outlined in the guidance.
We are currently consulting with appointed specialists who are advising us on the material considerations that are relevant to this application. This information will result in updated advice as it happens. It's vital that each of us submits a well-formed, legitimate objection to ensure our voices are heard.

Material considerations are valid even without a personal perspective.
Register on the North Yorkshire Council's portal in preparation of submitting an objection HERE You will need to register at the portal when you access it for the first time. Please note that the portal has an automatic time out after 30 mins, so it is best to draft and edit your objection on a word document and then paste it in.
Please refrain from using emotional and angry language – it could negate your objection. Objections have to be submitted by the 31st August.
PLEASE ATTEND WEETON & HUBY PARISH COUNCIL MEETING TO SHOW YOUR OPPOSITION TO THIS DEVELOPMENT Thursday 21st August at 7.30pm Almscliffe Hall.
The Parish Council will VOTE on their response to the planning application at this meeting. There will be the opportunity to ask questions about your objection after the meeting.
